‘Special’ Leeds player is pushing to leave Elland Road before deadline day with signing lined up

‘Special’ Leeds player is pushing to leave Elland Road before deadline day with signing lined up
Leeds United had to deal with several significant departures during the summer transfer window, which made things extremely difficult for them.

After star player Crysencio Summerville left Elland Road for West Ham United earlier this month, Georginio Rutter is the most recent to leave.

Joe Rothwell, who arrived on a season-long loan from Bournemouth, has since taken Archie Gray’s spot at Tottenham, having joined the team at the beginning of July.

Leeds has now moved to replace Summerville as they near the signing of Almeria winger Largie Ramazani, following a quiet few weeks in terms of arrivals.

However, Wilfried Gnonto might depart upon his anticipated arrival.

After reaching an agreement with the Spanish team for a £10 million package, Leeds United is almost certain to sign Largie Ramazani.

It has just come to light that Gnonto is seeking to depart, according to Sacha Tavolieri. The former Manchester United academy standout is seen to be a Summerville successor.

Gnonto was linked to Everton throughout the summer, and the Whites swiftly rejected a £23 million approach for the player.

The Italy international attempted to depart around this time last year, but once more, a transfer to Goodison Park was not successful.

If Leeds lets him go in the final eight days of the window, that is yet to be determined.

Newcastle and Nottingham Forest keen on Wilfried Gnonto

Newcastle is said to still be looking for an attacker, as TBR reported in July after the team entered the battle to sign Gnonto.

Even Nottingham Forest attempted to sign Gnonto, but it appears The Whites, who are determined to keep him in West Yorkshire, rejected that offer as well.

This coming week will be telling.
