The summer transfer move of Leeds United has the support of former Championship striker Sam Parkin, who believes that new lad Manor Solomon is the ideal replacement for Crysencio Summerville.

One of Leeds’ best players from the previous campaign, Summerville departed the team this summer to play for West Ham United in the Premier League.

Leeds signed winger Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan to bolster their left wing position following Summerville’s departure.

Parkin thinks Leeds made the right choice in pursuing Solomon’s signing to take Summerville’s spot, noting that the Spurs player has the Dutch winger’s propensity to cut inside from the left channel in an attempt to score.

The former star of the Championship continued by saying that Solomon is a very excellent player who has a low centre of gravity and that the Whites have made a nice addition in him.

He can chop in from the left side and bend it, which is his signature move—a technique that Summerville won for them.

“His centre of gravity is low, and he appears to be a very skilled player.”

Prior to the international break, Solomon made his Hull City debut, contributing to a 2-0 victory over the Tigers with an assist.
