Hearts boss Neil Critchley makes promise to ‘divided’ Hearts supporters

New Hearts boss Neil Critchley makes promise to ‘divided’ Hearts supporters

With the Jambos now at the basement of the Scottish Premiership, the former Liverpool boss is “confident” he can turn things around.

Neil Critchley, the manager of New Hearts, has stated categorically that he thinks he is the best person to lead the Jambos out of the lowest spot in the Scottish Premiership and up the standings.

It’s safe to assume that Tynecastle’s supporters have given the former manager of Blackpool and QPR a lacklustre reception. To try and get the team back to the kind of form that has won them European football two of the last three seasons, he has assured the supporters of the Jambos that he will give the job everything he has.

“I think I am (the right man for the job), or I wouldn’t be sitting here,” he remarked.I am aware that there will always be differences of opinion among those seated here. There is only so much that I can manage.

“I swear to the Hearts supporters that I will always give it my all in an effort to make this football team better. I have every confidence that I can accomplish that, and I’ll be the one to rescue us from our current predicament.

The 45-year-old talked about the persons he has and would talk to regarding accepting the position. The most well-known of them is undoubtedly Steven Gerrard, the legendary player from Liverpool who won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers and who Critchley assisted at Aston Villa.

“It would be foolish not to reach out to some of those people as well, since they’re good people and have gone through something that I haven’t.” he continued. I am aware that they offer me wise counsel, but I also need to make use of those around me.

I know we see it as a highly collaborative endeavour, so I know I don’t know everything, but I don’t pretend to be afraid to ask questions because I have some terrific individuals on staff.

“That relationship I had developed with Steven at Liverpool was one of the reasons I decided to leave Blackpool at the time. Working with someone like him in the Premier League at a team like Aston Villa was a great opportunity, and I really enjoyed it.” Although there are other people and Steven has been here for three years and achieved success, I believe it would be silly of me to ignore him.

As a result, there has already
