Paul Warne in fresh Derby County update over duo ahead of Wayne Rooney return
Latest Derby County news from DerbyshireLive brings you what the Rams head coach had to say ahead of the game against Plymouth Argyle tomorrow
Callum Elder will not be present at Derby County’s reunion with Wayne Rooney tomorrow, but Corey Blackett-Taylor is healthy and can play against Plymouth Argyle.
A small problem with Blackett-Taylor’s hamstring prevented him from playing in the midweek victory over Coventry City, but it was fixed in time for him to join the team.
But the news wasn’t so good for Elder, as the Australian will be out for a while due to a groin issue. Paul Warne, the head coach of Derby, stated that it is not as terrible as it could have been, but he did not provide a timeline for his comeback.
He was only somewhat conscious of his hamstring. There was no risk involved while dealing with him. He’s all right and prepared to be picked tomorrow.”
While Eiran Cashin is suspended for tomorrow’s match after receiving his fifth booking of the season, Elder will be joining David Ozoh, Ryan Nyambe, and Tawanda Chirewa on the sidelines.
