‘Phenomenal’ – Leeds United star salutes ‘massive’ fresh boost with rivals warning but personal admission

A Leeds United player has praised a huge new boost.

Ethan Ampadu, the captain of the Whites, has praised a “massive” new Leeds United boost while expressing personal regret and warning the opposition.

The captain has praised the significance of Sunday’s exciting 4-3 victory against Swansea City and the grit displayed by his team to depart with all three points, even though Ampadu is still out due to a knee injury.

Though he expressed sadness for not being able to participate in the triumph on the pitch because of his ailment, the midfielder has thought back on the “phenomenal” scenes discussed in the away end.

The victory moved Daniel Farke’s Whites to the top of the Championship, but with Tuesday night’s outcomes, Leeds fell back to fourth place.

After Leeds’ confidence-boosting success over Hull City over the weekend, Ampadu has cautioned what it will take to defeat the Hatters. Leeds would return to the top spot with a victory against Wednesday night’s visitors Luton Town.

“Away to Swansea is always a difficult match and even though the game itself didn’t go as any of us had anticipated beforehand, we were delighted to get a big three points,” Ampadu wrote in his captain’s piece for Wednesday night’s show.

In my opinion, the boys had great courage, particularly towards the finish when Swansea made it 3-3 so late. It was enormous to demonstrate that passion and resolve, to never give up, to persevere, and to get a winner. All I can hope for is to have been on the pitch. Everyone is discussing how amazing the away end scenes were.

Ampadu issued the following warning in advance of the match against the Hatters: “Tonight we have another big test against Luton Town.” Because they played in the Premier League the previous season, we know they are a very excellent team. We must perform at our highest level to earn all three points because, like us, they will be confident after their victory over the weekend.
