Leeds United told to keep ‘outstanding’ player in January despite potential for 49ers ‘profit’ from Tottenham

49ers Enterprises and Daniel Farke will surely agree on how crucial it is for Leeds United to retain their best players come January.Leeds is under pressure to outperform last season as they are once again expected to be in a promotion battle that goes right down to the line.Only until Leeds really return to the Premier League will the 49ers be able to show off their financial might, and the prize of promotion would exceed any immediate gain they might make from a major January sale.

Although it should go without saying, Farke wants a quiet January at Leeds, and he would undoubtedly consider it a good window if all of his important players stayed at Elland Road.

The goalie, number 10, and striker are among the positions that may be improved, so Leeds needs to be aggressive and at least try to bring in a few bodies.

Carlton Palmer tells Leeds what to do with Pascal Struijk in January

Patrick Bamford is the most recent of several Leeds players linked to transfers in January. The Whites may “green light” his departure next month, according to reports.

This season, Bamford has mostly played on the sidelines for Leeds, so his departure wouldn’t hurt the team. However, Pascal Struijk’s situation is significantly different.

Ahead of January, Struijk is coveted by Tottenham and other Premier League teams. Carlton Palmer has given his opinion on the rumours to Football League World.

Palmer feels that even though Struijk may make a significant “profit” because he was signed as an academy player, Leeds must make every effort to keep him at Elland Road come next month.

According to him, there are currently rumours that teams in the Premier League, like Wolves and Tottenham, are interested in signing Struijk, their seasoned centre back. This season, the 25-year-old has been Leeds United’s best player.

With players like Romero, who has been suspended or injured, and Micky van de Ven, who has suffered numerous hamstring injuries, Tottenham is hoping to bolster that area during the summer season. There has been an issue for them there.

However, considering that Leeds’ goal is to return to the Premier League, I don’t think they would sell the 25-year-old during the January transfer window. But since Struijk is one of the players who joined the team as a youngster, they would profit from any transfer price they kept for Struijk.

However, Leeds’ first aim this season is returning to the Premier League, therefore I don’t see them considering any kind of sale. They sold Summerville in order to fulfil their summertime obligations, which included selling Grey.

Since their goal is to return to the Premier League, I don’t think any more players will be permitted to leave Leeds United in the January transfer window.

On Saturday, Leeds United will play Oxford United without a manager. Before the game, however, Whites supporters are furious about one issue. When Leeds United hosts a struggling Oxford United team in the Championship on Saturday, it is generally anticipated that they will win all three points. The U’s are currently in 20th place of the Championship after winning only one of their previous 15 games.

After firing Des Buckingham, Oxford United is in talks with manager Gary Rowett before of their match against Leeds. Rowett may even be in the dugout at Elland Road on Saturday.

Remarkably, Leeds United has only competed for the U’s in the League Cup since 2000 and hasn’t defeated Oxford in the league since 1989, when Howard Wilkinson was manager.

Leeds United fans fume at referee appointment for Oxford clash

Whites supporters are not very thrilled with James Bell’s selection by the EFL for Saturday’s match between Leeds and Oxford United.

Bell, a well-known Sheffield Wednesday supporter, managed Leeds’ summer preseason friendly matchup with Valencia.

On X, a Leeds supporter wrote: “Shocking ref. Recall how chaotic the Valencia match was; he was unable to even manage a friendly before the season.
