Joe Hart says what he really thought about Harry Kane during their time playing together at Tottenham
Hart chose to join Tottenham as the number two player behind Hugo Lloris, despite having been the England number one only a few years earlier.
Even though Hart didn’t play much for Tottenham, Micah Richards felt awful for him when he was in north London. Hart’s exit from Spurs wasn’t much better either; he felt mistreated by Nuno Espirito Santo when he left for Celtic, and he left on somewhat of a bad note. Nevertheless, Hart’s time at Tottenham wasn’t all bad; the goalkeeper got to play with some amazing players, and he now praised Harry Kane in an interview with BeIN Sports.

Hart talked about his experience playing for Tottenham and England with Kane.
The goalie claims that while he was at Tottenham, he soon realized Kane was a world-class player, even though at first he didn’t understand the excitement surrounding him.
“Which striker was the best wearing an England shirt?” They asked Hart.
Harry Kane. He was an extremely skilled operator. I asked him, “How is Harry Kane getting in the England squad?” when I first saw him at the beginning of his England career. “Because of what I had witnessed,” Hart remarked.
“After meeting Kane, I thought he was good.” He was among the top two years later, and he continued to improve for another two years. In 2020, I collaborated with him at Tottenham, and I considered him to be a top-tier operator.

Kane is Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer, and it goes without saying that several of those goals were scored against Hart.
It’s interesting to note that, although having a lot of overlap in their careers, Kane only faced Hart five times.
But Kane did score three goals against the former England goaltender in those five meetings.

Hart claims that playing with Kane at Tottenham made him realize how good he was, and that makes sense.
In fact, Kane was just as good for Tottenham during practice as he was during the big games.
During his tenure at Spurs, Ben Davies regarded Kane as the team’s top trainer, and Danny Rose concurred, saying Kane was an exceptional trainer.
As Hart claims, Kane was a world-class player who was an amazing asset for Spurs.
