Mark Robins claims that he was not shocked to see Nathan Lowe appear in a position to score goals because he began his career at Stoke City by making the score.

West Brom applied pressure and eventually managed to sneak past Viktor Johansson to tie the score after Lowe came closest to scoring a second goal for Stoke.

Robins stated: “I felt we got off to a great start. Both in and out of possession, I believed we were strong. They seem like a solid team to me. It is easy to understand why they are at the top of the division. Although we didn’t really give them much, we managed to defend very well, and they are always a threat. In possession, we were better than we have been, and we moved fairly well.

“Going up a goal allowed us to perhaps gain some momentum. In the first half, we were incredibly good value. throughout my opinion, we performed admirably throughout the first half.

“You always run the risk of giving up as the game progresses if you don’t have the second one, and to be fair, the goal we let up wasn’t a particularly good one. We made a few mistakes, but it wasn’t because we didn’t try.

“As we were attempting to get up, we started to feel a little lethargic, which could be a problem since we might not have the players available who could help us change for the better right now.

“We were able to get by with the changes we made afterward. I felt they put in a lot of effort. When Niall came on after Nathan had given us everything he had, it gave us a little more energy up front, and I felt Junho did a great job off that side.
