Leeds United transfer ‘offer’ doesn’t fit 49ers plan but would fit Daniel Farke’s ‘stay awake’ philosophy

Leeds United transfer ‘offer’ doesn’t fit 49ers plan but would fit Daniel Farke’s ‘stay awake’ philosophy

Leeds United have been offered a Brazilian midfielder

Danilo Barbosa, a Brazilian midfielder, has been offered Leeds United a chance to complete a deal with his club, Botafogo, who are hoping to complete a transfer this month. As Barbosa is in the final year of his contract and is anticipated to travel to Europe next, The Mirror reports that he is being offered to several clubs, with his parent club undoubtedly eager to cash in at this time.

The 28-year-old defensive midfielder has been linked to both Everton and Sheffield United in the past, but it appears that neither team will pursue any prior interest given that the Blades are almost certain to sign Leicester City’s Hamza Choudhury and the Toffees have assembled a new transfer list following the hiring of manager David Moyes. Although nothing should be completely ruled out, Leeds Live is aware that it’s doubtful that Barbosa will be wearing a Leeds shirt by the end of this transfer window.

It is unlikely that Leeds will try to bolster their defensive midfield in January. For a player who has previously played for teams like Valencia, Benfica, and Nice, this could undoubtedly be that at a rumored £2 million transfer cost, though manager Daniel Farke has stated that the team will remain alert to opportunities.

Barbosa is a Brazilian league champion who also won the Copa Libertadores, South America’s Champions League. He has a lot of experience and, if a deal can be reached this month, many clubs will be interested in signing him at a discounted price. The player has not been advocating for a departure or a return to Europe, and it is said that he is content to remain in Brazil.
