Humble but hungry Nathan Lowe sets out Stoke City ambitions

Nathan Lowe only needed a few minutes to open his account for Stoke City after a prolific loan at Walsall

Even though Nathan Lowe was elated following his goal-splurge at Walsall, he was still happy to have that early goal to begin his life at Stoke City.

Having just returned to his parent club after spending six months on loan in League Two, where he scored eighteen goals, the 19-year-old scored the first goal in a 1-1 draw against play-off-chasing West Brom.

In a club interview, he stated, “I was excited.” I had a good time at Walsall, so it was a little bittersweet, but I can’t refuse that. When they said, “You are going to play a big part and we want you to come in and actually impact (things),” I was ecstatic. It was a type of leaving a boy and returning a man.

“I entered the building with a fresh mindset, and I truly looked forward to it. I entered feeling more assured.

Walsall is now 12 points clear at the top of the league thanks to Lowe’s successful stint at the Bescot Stadium under Mat Sadler, and it was advantageous for him as well.

“I really enjoyed the experience overall, and I learned a lot,” he remarked. “I feel like I’ve changed since returning. I’m really grateful to them for it. I wish them luck for the remainder of the season because everyone there has made it a truly delightful experience.

Nathan Lowe was serenaded by Stoke City supporters after returning to his parent club following a brilliant loan at Walsall.

It was arguably the most fun six months of football I’ve ever had, and I hope to continue having fun and scoring goals because that’s what makes me happy.

“I believe that their surroundings were comparable to those at Stoke. Fans welcomed me early, which was great, and I had the manager’s support, too. It’s a good community. He didn’t have to play me, but he did.

“There were more experienced strikers there when I entered, and I was eighteen years old. It was crucial that they believed in me because it gave me more self-assurance on the field. They continued to flow after I scored a couple, and I was getting more and more enjoyment out of it.

Lowe now looks forward to continuing to grow under Mark Robins.

He remarked, “I’m really happy to help the team out and come back on all cylinders.” “I believe that even getting it early relieved some of the pressure during the game, allowing me to go ahead and try new things.” Even though they had better chances, I still had a good time, and I’m excited for the upcoming games.

And he said, “He’s been excellent,” A young striker would have been thrilled to hear him say that I will play a major role in his plans last week, before I returned, and that he couldn’t ignore how many goals I had scored. I was overjoyed. Given that he was an incredible striker in his earlier years, I’ve been trying to absorb as much information as I can from him this week. I’m trying to improve at everything by making little progress here and there.
