Juventus’ interest, though, essentially reflects how well Andersen’s debut at Craven Cottage has gone. It would be a devastating blow to lose the 28-year-old now in a manner akin to Palhinha.

After such a successful run in the Premier League, Andersen might feel that a move to a European team of Juventus’ calibre is long overdue. However, Silva is unlikely to feel the same way, considering how crucial he has become, starting six of nine games before their impending west London derby with the Bees.
