Daniel Farke says ‘brilliant’ Leeds man is low on confidence right now, it could be time to drop him –

Farke says ‘brilliant’ Leeds United man is low on confidence right now, it could be time to drop him

Now, Daniel Farke will be preparing Leeds United for this weekend’s play-offs.

Due to a terrible run of play towards the conclusion of the season, in which Leeds managed just eight points from as many games, they were defeated by Leicester City and Ipswich Town to finish in the top two.

But Leeds has another chance to taste victory with a two-leg tie against Farke’s former team, Norwich City, so they can’t afford to be down for too long.

It is now up to Farke to get his team back playing like they did before the international break, even though Leeds supporters are not very optimistic about their team’s chances going into the play-offs.

Of the four play-off clubs, Leeds have perhaps the best individual quality, especially in attack, so Farke needs to figure out how to get the most out of them.

Leeds’ defence isn’t playing as well as it once did, as seen by the nine goals they have let up in the last three games.

However, Georgia Rutter’s recent performance has clearly declined.Although the 22-year-old hasn’t scored or assisted in eight games, his general play has been particularly concerning.

During the press conference held on Saturday after the game, Farke acknowledged that Rutter’s confidence has suffered, but he is still committed to helping him return to his top.

“Your observation is correct,” he remarked. It’s crucial to let him know that he shouldn’t be very upset or unhappy over who is to blame for this. Excellent thus far this season. Team of the Season. Innovation and one of our

It’s understandable that his confidence suffered because his first few games were below par due to lack of training. You can’t hold this against yourself. It will return.

It could be time for Farke to drop Rutter

Rutter, as previously indicated, has been a major contributor to Leeds’ winning season, but he is simply not performing to his previous level.

He only attempted one dribble in the 62 minutes he played on Saturday, and it was unsuccessful. Considering that he has averaged over three points per game this season, it is evident that he is having difficulty.

Additionally, eight games have passed since he last produced a “big chance.” This season, he is only second in the Championship to Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu, which is another strong indication that he is far from his peak.

With that in mind, it is clear the ‘brilliant’ Rutter is not offering what he should be to the team and Leeds cannot afford to be carrying any passengers in the play-offs.

As hard as it may be, Farke may have to take the brutal decision of dropping him to the bench. Coming on against tired defences could actually be exactly what he needs to find his best again
