Leeds United team news as Farke rings the changes again after Middlesbrough collapse
Daniel Farke named his starting lineup for Leeds United’s Championship match against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon at The Hawthorns. Seven changes from Farke have, predictably, reversed the rotation he instituted in midweek to such a poor effect for Leeds United. Joel Piroe is the only player who survived the eight switches on Wednesday. Junior Firpo, Ethan Ampadu, and Joe Rodon are playing in their third matches in a week.
The Dutch striker remains in the starting lineup and is probably going to play behind Mateo Joseph because Georginio Rutter is expected to sign a contract with Brighton & Hove Albion soon. At the end of 2023, Piroe took the pitch as the playmaker and put on a performance that cost him the next six weeks of league starts.
The substitutes for Piroe were Joe Rothwell and Brenden Aaronson, but both players are back on the bench following their starts in the Middlesbrough defeat. Returning to the side are Illan Meslier, Jayden Bogle, Pascal Struijk, Ilia Gruev, Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, and Mateo Joseph.

For their second league match of the previous season, United was also in the West Midlands. With an eight-man bench, three goalkeepers, and two players on strike, it was an awful day. Meslier, Ampadu, Struijk, and James are the only players left from that starting lineup.
Ampadu, Firpo, and Rodon are the only players remaining to start every game in all competitions this season. Sam Allison, the referee today against the Baggies, is supported by Andrew Fox, Jonathan Hunt, and Adam Herczeg (fourth official). Crossout: New Apocalyptic MMO Play Crossout 2.0 for free.
