Against two of the biggest teams in European football, Kornel Szucs will be hoping to play in two important UEFA Nations League matches during the November international window.

When Hungary defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in October, the Argyle defender made his senior debut as a late substitute.

Szucs may now play in his team’s final two games of the regular season, first the Netherlands in Amsterdam and then home Germany, the four-time World Cup champions.

In their League A group, Hungary is ranked third. They and the Netherlands are tied for second place with five points each. The team in second place will undoubtedly survive in League A, while the team in third place will have to compete against a League B team in a relegation play-off.

For Iceland’s final two League B Nations League matches against Montenegro and Wales, Victor Palsson has been called up.

Iceland will be in a relegation play-off if they are unable to go up over Wales into second place, but they are currently in third place, four points ahead of Montenegro in fourth.

Sierra Leone’s and Mustapha Bundu’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign is in dire straits.

The Leone Stars are now in third place in Group G with four points following their thrilling victory over African champions Cote d’Ivoire last time out. Zambia has seven points, which puts them in second place and the last qualifying berth.

Zambia first takes on Cote d’Ivoire, while Sierra Leone takes against bottom-place Chad. On Tuesday, November 19, the two teams will play a winner-take-all match in Liberia if Bundu’s team wins and Zambia loses.

During the break, Darko Gyabi and Freddie Issaka will both play youth international matches.

Gyabi will play in the next two Elite League games for England’s Under-20 squad.

Despite having played one more game than Germany, who are one spot and point behind them, the Young Lions lead the table with ten points after four games.

On Friday, November 15, England will play Germany in Chesterfield. Four days later, they will travel to Poland.

Issaka will compete for Wales Under-19s for the first stage of their U19 European Championship qualifying campaign.

Wales has been placed in the same group as Liechtenstein, France, and Scotland. The top two teams in the group advance to the “Elite Round,” another group-stage format that will be used next spring to determine the qualifiers for the tournament in 2025. Each team will play each other once during the break.
