West Brom’s average away Championship attendance compared to Middlesbrough, Plymouth Argyle, and rivals
If the Championship table were based on average away attendances, it would look like this after game week 15.
After seeing their team defeat Hull City on Sunday, West Brom fans had cause to celebrate over the weekend.
A fast-paced double from Karlan Grant and Josh Maja upset the Tigers on Sunday, giving the 1,384 spectators in the away end of the MKM Stadium their first victory in eight games.
The outcome placed the Baggies in fifth place, with only six points separating them from the two spots that are guaranteed promotion. A number of clubs behind WBA, but Middlesbrough and Millwall might pass them with a victory during the international break.

The average attendance at West Brom’s away games is 1,953, and they are not in the top six. With an estimated 3,100 people travelling up to Sheffield to watch a lunchtime loss to Sheffield Wednesday, they had the most at any game this season.
