Report: Nottingham Forest want £20 million striker who has been compared to Sergio Aguero

Nottingham Forest want £20 million striker who has been compared to Sergio Aguero

An intriguing European prospect is being targeted as Nottingham Forest looks to bolster their striker position going into the January transfer window.

This Nottingham Forest team is just a few acquisitions away from being complete in every manner, so Nuno Espirito Santo has the ideal opportunity to get things going as the January transfer window approaches.

With only Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood as their sole options, Forest is now one injury away from an injury crisis, therefore the squad depth up top may be enhanced.

Chris Wood’s goals have been crucial, but in his few games since getting hurt, Awoniyi hasn’t looked the same.

The Reds appear to be considering a striker deal before the January transfer window opens.

Nottingham Forest interested in signing Semih Kılıçsoy

Despite only being 19 years old, Semih Kılıçsoy has already made 55 appearances for Besikats, contributing seven assists and 13 goals.

For the child, this season hasn’t gone very well. In 16 games, he has one goal and four assists, but there is still much more he can do.

Besiktas is reportedly seeking a “serious transfer fee” for him, with an estimated €25 million (£20 million) being sought.

Semih Kılıçsoy too much of a risk right now

Nottingham Forest’s problem is that Chris Wood’s domination may deter any striker who wants to start because it’s very unlikely that anyone will unseat him.

Awoniyi’s problem this season has been that it occasionally feeds off scraps.

Nottingham Forest cannot ensure that Kılıçsoy will get the regular minutes he needs to gain experience at his age without impeding his progress.

He hasn’t demonstrated enough in the Turkish league, after all, to merit a £20 million cost.

But according to Football Scout, the child has been likened to Sergio Aguero.

Ryan Yates gives away Nottingham Forest’s game plan for Arsenal clash

Ryan Yates has officially revealed the strategy for Nottingham Forest’s difficult test against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest was once viewed as the underdog, but Nuno Espirito Santo has turned them into a team that the top six now fear.

Since Ryan Yates has supported Nottingham Forest through both the good and the bad, this will be much more special to him.

Interestingly, Forest has not established a program to try and find the next academy star who can follow in Yates’ footsteps because of how much of an impact he has had there.

He has since discussed the strategy Nottingham Forest would use when they visit the Emirates in advance of their match against Arsenal.

Ryan Yates shares Nottingham Forest’s game plan for Arsenal

Leading from the front as club captain, Ryan Yates has been among the first names on the teamsheet.

Yates has been an unsung hero for Nottingham Forest this season, according to Henry Winter, and we have to agree because his tireless work off the ball frequently goes unappreciated.

Speaking before of Forest’s match against Arsenal (as reported by the Guardian), Yates revealed the strategy Forest will use at the Emirates and stated that he no longer enjoys being referred to as the underdog.
