‘Really good opportunity’ – Norwich City vs Plymouth Argyle prediction: The72

Ahead of Tuesday’s Championship match, The72’s writers provide their predictions for Norwich City vs. Plymouth Argyle.
In midweek, Plymouth Argyle will travel to Norwich City in an attempt to extend their Championship winning streak to four games.

Plymouth Argyle has had a difficult season away from home and has not yet won a game there. They only have two points, which they earned on the road against Derby County and QPR.

After an uneven start under Wayne Rooney, the Pilgrims are now 19th in the standings, but they are coming to Norwich City fresh off an equaliser in the 96th minute to earn a point against Watford on Friday night.

After 16 games, their opponents, Norwich City, are in 13th place, reflecting a poor start to the season.

After drawing 2-2 on the road at West Brom over the weekend, they will be looking to build on that outcome to improve their home record. Only two of the Canaries’ home games this season have been victories.

The three-game losing streak came to an end with the draw against West Brom. Nevertheless, they have yet to win in seven games.

A few of our authors share their game predictions here.

    Charlie Hodgson

Both of these teams, in my opinion, would prefer that this game be played in reverse. At the moment, Norwich has a far superior away record than at home, while Plymouth Argyle is dominating at home.

“This is undoubtedly the most important away game Plymouth has ever won. The Pilgrims will support themselves based on the shape of both sides.

“I’m going to support Rooney’s team because I believe they have the talent to punish an out-of-touch Norwich team and showed promise in spells against Watford.”

Forecast: Plymouth Argyle 1-2 Norwich City

    James Ray

“This ongoing losing streak will frustrate Norwich City, but they should be happy with the draw against West Brom.” Even though their teams were in similar positions and had poor form and injury-plagued rosters, it was still a good draw.

But concentrating on this match, the Canaries have a great chance to turn things around.

Although Plymouth Argyle is a formidable foe, their away record is dismal. They have managed a few good draws, but Norwich still has players who can punish them, and we have seen them lose on the road.

“This could definitely end in a home win, but I’ll actually back the visitors to get a point.
