With striker Tom Cannon still in the lineup, Stoke City will be hoping to make it to the start of February. However, there is growing conjecture that parent club Leicester City may decide to send the forward away for the second half of the season.

Under former manager Narcis Pelach, Stoke’s undisputed star this season has been young forward Cannon, who was once with Everton. He started the season with four goals in the rout of Portsmouth to give the team an early victory, and he has since added significant goals in victories over Derby County and Blackburn Rovers, as well as most recently against Sunderland and in the draw at Queens Park Rangers.
