Narcis Pelach sends message as he moves on after Stoke City sacking

Narcis Pelach sends message as he moves on after Stoke City sacking

Stoke City parted company with Narcis Pelach in December after three wins in 19 but he is back in work at West Ham

Narcis Pelach, who followed Graham Potter to West Ham United and joined the Irons’ new-look coaching staff, is “really grateful” for the opportunity. Following the home loss to Leeds United on Boxing Day, Pelach was fired as head coach of Stoke City.

Only three months after Pelach had succeeded Steven Schumacher at the bet365 Stadium, the Potters made that decision, and they have since replaced him with the seasoned Mark Robins. However, after just three victories in 19 games, the club’s management ended Pelach’s tragic reign.

Pelach, who was formerly employed by Norwich City and Huddersfield Town, has joined Potter, the new West Ham manager, at the London Stadium. In order to confirm Pelach as a member of his staff, the club dismissed Julen Lopetegui from his position on Wednesday night and hired Potter on Thursday morning.

Pelach wrote, “I am really excited to join a great club and a top manager to fight for,” following the news. “Thank you so much for the chance, and I’ll give it my all. Continue to develop and study with zeal, diligence, and fortitude.

Pelach will be back in the Midlands on Friday night when West Ham take on Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup, the first match of Potter’s reign. He is joined by Billy Reid and Bruno Saltor, the latter who played for Brighton in the Premier League, and they make up Potter’s team behind the scenes
