Man Utd youngster has just been handed a golden opportunity to become Ruben Amorim’s breakout star

Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United in action during the Premier League match between Manchester United FC and Crystal Palace FC at Old Trafford...

Only for Manchester United’s rivals does the Theatre of Dreams live up to its moniker, as Crystal Palace became the most recent team to win all three points.

Mateta scored twice as Palace deftly shackled Manchester United, helped by some terrible finishing that exposed Ruben Amorim’s shortcomings.

Even though United’s Premier League season was already stalled, defeats like these dampen the spirits of a club that is being closely watched.

But the most trying situations are where real breakthrough stars are born, and following the Palace match, it’s obvious that a child may be put to the test by fire.

Ayden Heaven can step up at Man Utd

Is it really reasonable to expect an 18-year-old defender who recently signed and hasn’t played for the team to “step up” when there isn’t anything for him to do?

After coming from Arsenal during this transfer window, Ayden Heaven is currently in that predicament.

Since Heaven is left-footed, he is the only defender who can take Lisandro Martinez’s spot as the left-sided center-back. Heaven is being marketed as a legitimate first-team addition.

Although the reliance on Martinez was already becoming concerning, his injury, which appeared to be rather serious, is now becoming an emergency.

Although the reliance on Martinez was already becoming concerning, his injury, which appeared to be rather serious, is now becoming an emergency.

Now, Heaven can make his FA Cup debut against Leicester City and have his trial by fire, from which he can achieve further notoriety.

Amorim’s team selections have made it plain that he prefers players who are physically fit, even though Jonny Evans is another left-footed alternative.

The 6’4′′, left-footed center-back, who plays like a midfielder with the ball and with his life on the line without it, is the best.

    Lisandro Martinez is irreplaceable

After gushing over Heaven’s potential, it’s important to note that his present skill level and his potential are not at all the same.

The adolescent should not be expected to take Martinez’s place and make it his own, even if he emerges from the baptism by fire with a better reputation.

It would be an incredible turn of events if it occurred, but that is precisely why it is so unlikely given that Martinez’s skill set is not reproduced in the Manchester United team.

The team’s progressive passing, aggressive defense, and newly-developed attacking nous are unmatched, and Heaven cannot be expected to step in and maintain the momentum.

Martinez is essential, but his minutes could be increased, giving him a fantastic chance to plan a breakout sooner than anticipated.
