Coach says Brentford player was ‘completely doomed’ – Father even called up asking for help
Following his recent call-up of Brentford defender Mads Roerslev, Denmark’s coach Brian Riemer has addressed .the Danish press
The 25-year-old has made his senior team debut, but his career may have turned out differently had Brentford not taken a chance on him while he was having trouble at FC Copenhagen.
Ahead of their next match against Spain, Riemer made remarks at a press conference that were covered by Tipsbladet. The manager disclosed that Roerslev’s father even got in touch with him because of his son’s
problems at Copenhagen.
Roerslev has made 130 appearances for the Premier League team since joining the Bees in 2019. He was finally recognised by his nation as a result of this, and last week the former Bradford assistant coach gave him his first call-up.
Now, the player is scheduled to make his debut against either Serbia or Spain.
